VIT Scholarship is for students who have appeared for VITEEE 2018 and have successfully scored a good rank in the entrance exam. Only the tuition fee will be paid under this scholarship and the candidates have to bear the special fee amount, external placement training fee and placement fee. Central and state level topper only will get 100% fee waived off for all 4 years. Also, two toppers among students from government school, who have appeared in the VITEEE exam and scored a rank, will be given 100% tuition fee and full immunity from hostel and mess fee will be waived off according to the scholarship.

Scholarship based on Rank

VIT scholarship states that only the tuition fee will be removed from the candidates who have scored different ranks like:


The candidates who are the toppers of state and central board 100% tuition fee will be waived off for all four years.

The candidates who have scored rank between 1 to 50 then their 75% tuition fee will be waived off for all four years.

The candidates who have scored rank between 51 to100 then their 50% tuition fee will be waived off for all four years.

The candidates who have scored rank between 101 to 1000 then their 25% tuition fee will be waived off for all four years.

Terms and Conditions for the Scholarship -


Scholarship for the first year will be given according to the rank scored by the candidate.

But from 2nd year, scholarship will be applicable for each year subject to the candidate scoring 8.0 or above CGPA and students have to score above 8.0 CGPA all the years and the candidate must make sure that he/she should not indulge in any activity disliked by VIT.
